Nikon has announced a new Coolpix camera called the 3700. Looks quite
nice and small, and I like the fact that it is a metal body.

I had been considering getting the Canon Powershot SD100, however, it
only has a 2x optical zoom compared to the 3x zoom in this new Nikon.
The overall features and capabilities seem quite similar though. The
thing is that it seems that the Canon is a fair bit less expensive
than the Nikon suggested price (-$100 Canadian).

Will be interesting to see how they compare image quality wise, once
the Nikon becomes available.
