to all who may have this problem, i had the same problem and found out that microsoft security essentials is causing the problem for me. im on an asus g53jw, but if you have this problem and that program, you might want to try ending the MSE process, of course, MSE would'nt always be the cause, since my other machines have the same program and work fine.
