there are a bunch of "best practice" guides on the cisco site:
www.cisco.com/go/srnd
use the one for the version of code you are running.
i seem to remember there is sizing in the cisco release notes as well.
if you need more scale, you can add more servers to the cluster, or possibly
upgrade, since the later versions seem to scale better.
