I'm a Ph.D. student and I'm now doing research on SIP security.

I haven't found that much about SIP security research on the web.
I'd like to find some kind of "state of the art" document about SIP
security (list of known issues, unsolved problems... etc).

Do you know any definitive on-line sources for this subject?

lots of white papers at:
http://www.webtorials.com/index.htm

security for IP telephony generally rather than just SIP has been a common
theme for a while.

you probably need to register to get at the various white papers
