Hi James. Be careful when removing duplicate files. especially if they
`belong` to windows.
It`s OK to delete your own dups. But Windows maintains duplicates
in folders for repair and maintenance purposes.
There are several dup file finders out there, it`s probably best if you
Google for them, then use one that suits your needs.

Be careful - you are sure that thse are genuinely duplicate *redundant*
files - not intentionally duplicated files that are part of different
operational programmes?

You can use NoClone to uncover duplicate files. Use Smart marker to
mark files for removal, e.g. mark older files to remove.

What if some program needs an older version of a .dll in it's own folder
to work?
