I have gone and let my niece on my computer and she went to a virtual chat
room, which I like to use, since she has her own Username at that site, I
didn't think there could be any harm done

But unfortunately she fell for a scam and got my IP address Banned for
2months.

Help I want to know if I can unban it.

Thanks if your any help

A. Email the website and explain, ask for forgiveness.
- or -
B. Get another IP address or cloak your current one.

I contacted my ISP and since I am on broadband my IP address automatically
changes every so often, but I cant seem to log on this particular website
using any user name.

There is a Cheat or something like that to help but it hasn't, I just had to
uninstall macromedia Shockwave Player, then reinstall it.

the address I go to is www.habbohotel.com.au

Liar.

That's quite a lofty pursuit. Give it up.

Did you delete any cookies that may still point to your neice's
account?

Unplug your modem for 24 hours. Hopefully the IP will have moved on
and you will get issued a new one when it is turned on.

Or if you have a router and it has a clone facility for MAC addresses,
you can swap MAC addresses and immediately get a new IP.
Don't immediately try to switch back or you will probably get the old
one back.

Here is a couple solutions, some are repeated.

1. You Could Tell The Webmaster what Happened.
2. You Could try to get a different ip address from your isp (internet service provider)
3. You could simply use a proxy site...
The proxies I use are,
http://mibearings.com/p/proxy
http://ebayranch.com/p/proxy

I know that this post is old, but this is for the people that come here with the same problem that you have.

W00T I am 4 years from the feature sending you this message to the past!:

Hmm?

IP ban is found in the administration part of the website management. To unban yourself you should try one of the following:

1. Ask for apologize
2. Get a on someone else's computer (usually works in some situations)
3. Get a new IP (cloaking)

Not recommended (not even I do this to unban myself):

4. Hack the website to get hold of administration part of the website management and unban yourself, note that this is illigal and is not recommended to be done by anyone.

Recommended: Ask for apologize, usually the most effective, although if you happen to end up IP banned again because you mess up really bad somehow by breaking the rules then your chances of getting unbanned again is even lower. Also other people who own the website can "out of mistake" ban you again meaning you could tell that person (if you get hold of his email) that you got unbanned because you said sorry ).

Hope it helps....
