How to subscribe ?

I want to use my gmail account for a subscription to this group, but
dont know how to go about it ? Can anybody help me ? Else I have to go
to the group's website every time I want to see something.

groups-beta.google.com
click on 'preferences' on the top right of the screen.
Switch your subscription settings for comp.lang.vhdl to 'Web Only' to
'Email', 'Digest email'.
