When I boot I get the error "Generic host process for win 32 services
encountered a problem and needed to close". The computer still boots up and
appears to be working ok, albeit slow. What is this error? I use win xp pro.

Start\Admin Tools\Event Viewer Click on each item in the left pane and view
the events in the right pane. double click recent errors and the could point
you in the right direction. The OS can`t find something that it is looking
for, a file or driver etc. best wishes..J
