This happened me a while back and I can't remember how it was resolved. I
cannot send mail since last night. I am using OE6 and have tried posting to myself but to no avail. This is the message I get "This is the AVG E-mail Scanner program. I'm sorry to have to inform you that the message returned below could not be delivered to one or more destinations. ------------------------------------------------------------------- : authentication required - Your email could not be sent. To fix this you must make a simple change to your email (known as SMTP authentication). For advice visit www.btyahoo.com/smtp or call 0800 328 9968 -------------------------------------------------------------------" I have STMP authentication set up and I tried removing that and setting it up as from fresh but nothing works. It's a joke that to try and get help via phone, it will cost up to £12.50 and maybe that wouldn't even fix the problem! Can anybody suggest anything. I am a photographer and I urgently need to send of photos that I took yesterday. Thanks. ohmagawd |
