Windows 98SE systems on older 700MHz systems. Several PCs in same room
experiencing keyboard error on boot. Keyboard shows lights, BIOS
doesn't see it won't allow boot. Mouse not seen on some, not all. 20
PCs, new problem in new room. Known power issues in room.

Various PCs cropping up with same problem, rebooting and changing
keyboards doesn't fix, occasionally does. Keyboard definitely working
on one is not seen by identical "neighbor". Solid connections.

Computers not seeing keyboard do occasionally "see" keyboard and boot
normal. I'm guessing power problems in the room, not designed for alot
of PCs. Before lugging PCs around.... Anybody seen this problem?

NC
(I really don't want to move Boxes to other rooms for testing unless I
have to... Do I have to?)

Not resolving the problem but you could buy a ps2 or USB splitter for KB and
M.

I lost kb on my laptop and bought a ps2 splitter and quite happily used it
with a separate KB and M. Then used an USB splitter also. BIOS doesn't
have to see these only the USB.
