Default Physical Design Books

Hi,

can somebody recommend books/papers/web pages etc. for a front
end designer who needs to get up to speed on physical design
(for standard cell ASIC). At this point my main interest is not
really how to run and use Magma or Apollo.
That will be my next step. I want to learn more about physical
design in general before i play with the tools.

Thanks,
Marco
