The BPST bit or the .mpg bit?

Think about -
File source.
What format were you told the file was in.
What format did any associated readme / nfo have to say.
(if that's no help)

Try www.google.com (as usual)

If that's too much to read,

BN encoding: has BPST in the encoded headers. Is being phased out in
favor of yEnc.

Less tham 1 minute to Google and search for BPST in the pages found.

What does the Subject header have in it? Does it look like one of those
yEnc encoding files where the unstructured Subject header gets usurped
by that encoding scheme as though it were a structured field? Could be
you got a crappy download and will have to redownload the post to get
the file again. Could the be author screwed up the encoding. Could be
that the yEnc encoded attachment got corrupted because yEnc is NOT
designed for reliable transport.
