hi, have set up two user accounts in xp call them a and b.

i have carefully set up the same email address in both accounts configured
in OE.

when i use account a and send an email to both a and b, it comes back to
account 'a' alright. But it does not come into acount b. should it do so?

thanks for any advice.

If it's the same address for each account, it will go to whichever
account checks the mail first. (So, if you are sending/receiving on
account A, it will go only to that account.)
You *could* select "leave a copy of message on server" on the
Advanced tab of the accounts, but it's a pretty sloppy solution (you'd
probably get multiple downloads of the same message in both accounts).
Better to use two separate addresses: either a different provider,
or an 'alias' of the main account (depending upon what your ISP
provides).

Check with your Provider.

Only if you instruct your e-mail client to leave messages on the server,
otherwise as soon as you read it on account A this will delete it from
the server and it won't be available to download into account B.
