Lost desktop quick launch

Silly but annoying. I have lost the "quick launch desktop" from the
quick launch toolbar.

It lives in the address below, but when I tried to replicate it so
that I could put it on another PC later, the icon changed and it
now does not work


"C:\Documents and Settings\name\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Quick Launch"

Any idea's please.

You can recreate it as follows:-

1. create a text file with the following content:-

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

2. Save it to your "Quick Launch" folder with the name:-

Show Desktop.scf

To show the Quick Launch bar

1.. Right-click the taskbar, and then click Properties.
2.. On the Taskbar tab, select the Show Quick Launch check box, and then
click Apply.
Notes

a.. You can turn off the Quick Launch bar by clearing the check box.
b.. The Quick Launch bar displays icons you can click to quickly open
programs, show the desktop, or perform other tasks.

Yes it worked. Many thanks ...It seemed silly but is very useful to me.

I had the Quick launch toolbar showing ok, but messed up the desktop quick
launch.
All working now though.
