Computer Support - Unable to run ipconfig

Default Unable to run ipconfig


ipconfig /all or ipconfig /renew won't run. Winxp sp1
Can't figure this one.

You need to type it into a command prompt.

start >run >cmd > ipconfig /all

Open a command prompt first, and enter the
instructions in there.

Start / Run / cmd

Thanks! That helps a bit...

You have your command window open? Try to see if the file is where it
belongs:

cd c:\Windows\system32 <cr>
dir ipconfig.exe <cr>

(<cr> is carriage return or enter)

If the file is there, it should run for you. If it's not there, you have a
different problem <g>
