Default networking trouble

I did the wizzard to set up a network between 2 computers, wizzard says it
worked fine on both computers and tells me to look in my network places to
see the other computer, problem is the other computer isn't there on either
machine, I messed about with some settings but still can't get them to see
each other.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong? thanks

Taking a moment's reflection, SKS mused:

Spelling "wizard" incorrectly, for one. I assume XP ... is the
firewall enabled for each computer? If so, that's likely the issue.

Your right, it is the firewall, except unless I turn it off it wont allow
the other computer to connect even on the lowest security settings, using
zone alarm, is it worth duping zone alarm I heard its a pain when coming to
networks
