Since installing XP Sp2 on a toshiba TE2000 laptop the toshiba power saver's
standby and hibernate functions do not work.

if i uninstall the toshiba utils TPS ver5.1 the standby and hibernate
functions under the windows screen saver options (monitor power/power
options) they both work fine.

any assistance offer would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
