I recently downloaded the Google Desktop and have had no apparent problems
with it although I did note that they recently fixed a bug that could have
let hackers search your desktop. However, my brother raised several good
questions (below).

"I have a couple of concerns. First, it's a beta version, so it may pay to
wait until the work out the bugs. Second, although they imply otherwise, I
wonder if it might slow down the computer as it attempts to index your hard
drive in the background. Most important, how much disk space is going to be
occupied with archives of web pages that I might have once visited, no
longer need, and would quickly pile up?"

Anyone have answers?
