I am looking for some hints regarding and old Compaq Presario CDTV 528 (all
in one piece model).
I don't really want to sink more money than the price for a LAN card into
it...
Would it be possible to use the machine as a dedicated computer to run a
P2P software like Emule or Kazaa? I can install Windows 98 but no higher
version.
There are 24MB of RAM. The HD needs to be exchanged since it is only approx.
500MB (I have spare hard disks).
Or shall I go back to the future and prepare a fast DOS machine dedicated
to the first Space Invader game from 1980?

unless you are ging to have 32 -64 megs of ram
there is little sense in trying to run win98... it will be very slow!

if you can use win95...then the 24 megs of ram and the 500 meg
hd will be ok
