downloaded sp2

I have just downloaded SP2 and now I'm having trouble listing to CDs. I only
get a distorted sound from the right speaker and I don't know how to check
the settings and try fixing it. I am running XP HomeUse and every thing else
is working fine as far as I can know there is some programs I only use now
and again. Thanks for any help given.
