Hi,
I tried to switch over from OE 6 to Thunderbird 0.9. The files were installed
in the same directory that contains the Firefox files.
When I opened Thunderbird, one message was downloaded.
At the bottom of the

There is a light gray area at the bottom of the white message area is a �gtask
bar�h that says:

There are no messages on the server Unread:1 Total:1

After this opens another light-gray colored space right down to the bottom
of the screen (approx. 70 mm on a 17�h monitor).
Inside are two lines in red:

This space cannot be changed.
When I try to Get Mail, an Alert window pops up and says: �gCould not connect
to server (followed by: mail.myemailaddress); the connection was refused.
Then I am asked to input my password on �gpop.myemailaddress)�c (I type it
in and say OK): Sending of password did not succeed�c

Has anybody a clue what I did wrong? I really want to kick OE out.
BTW, I did ask in the relevant Mozilla NG... but havent't received any response.
