I am trying to use Corel PrintHouse 2 with XP. It will not print the proper
size cards that I try to make to my specifications. It always worked with Win98, and I could cut the size paper I wanted to use for a card, (for example, 6.25"x9.5", making a side fold or top fold card that would end up being 6.25"x4.75"), insert it in the printer, and the printing came out perfectly using my HP990c printer.(I did not have it set for double-sided printing, but I knew how to handle that situation.) I still have the same printer but new HP computer with XP. I can do all of the setting, importing of clipart or photos from my own collection OR from the CD, set all of the printing choices, and then when I try to print, the pictures are always about 2" x 1.75",give or take a fraction of an inch. They are also in the middle of the card paper. I am very frustrated. It can't be the HP printer's fault because it worked with Win98. It has to be HP computer that is at fault. My son has XP and a different computer from mine, and his PH2 works just fine--as mine used to. I was thinking of buying PH 6, but now I don't know what to do. I have read on the Corel News Group (cnews.corel.com) letters from people that say even Photo House 6 won't work wih XP. I must have a good card maker, because I am hooked on the hobby. Can anybody help? Reachinout reachinout |
