I did that awhile back once (can't remember why
Assuming your XP is running on the boot partition, there may be a problem
because that partition will most likely be formatted with NTFS. Even though
your Win98 has it's own partition (using FAT32), it still needs to be able
to read the boot partition.
Although I think there are 3rd-party programs that work around this.
