Hi There
I have hopefully just removed 9 different worms and virus' from my system.
I'm not amused. (Thanks for the help Ron!). I now find i cannot use System
Restore. It goes through all the correct steps, but then informs me that it
has not restored the system to an earlier time!! I wonder if one of the
worms etc has damaged this facility. Also, i don't know about any of you,
but i keep getting a message (pop-up) from MICROSOFT?? saying my computer
is at risk and to go via a link to get a patch. However, I dont trust this
and have just closed it each time. Is this a kosher alert or a spoof virus
spreader??

Install a decent firewall like ZoneAlarm. Those are sneaking into your
PC from evil, mean, nasty spammers through the totally unnesescary
Windows Message Service. It means you are...unprotected.
