When trying to access desktop shortcuts I get dialogue box which states,
"Windows cannot find 'http://......... Make sure you have typed the name
correctly..... (I haven't typed--I have accessed by mouse clicking on the
desktop shortcut).

Note -- my spell check doesn't work in xp pro (but I havent typed --just
clicked onto shortcut)

This happens to 3 shortcuts I've created this week.

What can I do to access these shortcuts from the desktop

Thanks to ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like your registry has been damaged.
Please supply more details about your system,
and exactly how you created these shortcuts.
