I tell you what, you go and spend $US50 an hour or more on a KKKonsulatant and see if they don't tell you to format and reinstall. Your ****ing user registry is rooted, you duff ****. Either create a new user account or **** the hell off and die. Get it? Alternatively, my mail address is valid. For $US49.99 per hour, I'll tell you whatever the **** you want to hear, ok? Minimum engagement is 10 hours. Not negotiable. Hell, I'll even let you play with everything except my ****ing emotions.
**** me dead. The morons are ungrateful tonight. -- http://kadaitcha.cx Windows XP Problem and Troubleshooting Resources Kadaitcha Man |

I found a solution for you. Go to your Documents and Settings folder. Turn on "show hidden and system files" in folder options. You will see a hidden file called "NTUSER.DAT". It is probably corrupt. If you want to see, you can try to open it in wordpad, and the system will get really laggy as it tries to read the bad sector, then wordpad will crash.
Just rename the file with a ".bak" extention and reboot. An older version of your registry will be recovered, from a day or two before the crash. |
