Call-Back In Windows XP Home

Hi,

I hope that somebody can help me.

I have a new laptop with Win XP Home and have set up a dial-up connection to
log into my network at work for when I am on call. I dial-up, get
connected, my user name and password are verified, then the network server
hangs up and is supposed to call me back (so that I don't get call charges).
However, it calls me back, my laptop answers but then there is a lot of
modem noise, it disconnects and I can hear "Please replace the handset and
try again".

I understand that there is an issue with Win XP Home and the call-back
facility. Apparently, call-back works fine on Win XP Professional. Is
there an add-on or a patch I can get to solve this problem or is there
something in Win XP that I need to enable? I have tried the Microsoft
websites but there doesn't seem to be anything that helps.

Many thanks
JB
