Hi,
I want to be able to set up a buffer that holds about 30 or 40 of my screen captures ( pressing the Prt Scrn) key, instead of just one, as is the case with the clip board, whenever I hit the Prt Scrn key. I imagine such a software that could run in memory, until I'm ready to shudown my Windows would only impose on my memory space, as I've added extra RAM recently. Please advise, Jim Jim |

It's a handy and versatile screen capture program; and one of its features is that you can set it to automatically capture screenshots at any interval you choose. If you'd like to check it out; unfortunately, the site is in German, but there is an English version of the program there. http://www.nsbnet.de/ -- "Freeware." trout |

No, X- Shot won't truly do what I need. I need a way to keep hitting the prt scrn key and save the images on demand. X-shot can do it to an extent, but there sure is a lag between the program pops up for you to hit 'screenshot' button again. Xshots timer function is cool, but I simply cant use it like that. Is there a way for me to program the prt scrn key on my Windows 2000 ? If so, what program would be best ? Thanks for all suggestions, Jim On 05 May 2004 07:01:56 GMT, Boomer <Boomer__Baby_@mailinator.com> wrote: >"trout" <> did say: > >> Jim wrote: >> >>> Hi, >>> >>> I want to be able to set up a buffer that holds about 30 or 40 of >>> my screen captures ( pressing the Prt Scrn) key, instead of just >>> one, as is the case with the clip board, whenever I hit the Prt >>> Scrn key. >>> >>> I imagine such a software that could run in memory, until I'm >>> ready to shudown my Windows would only impose on my memory space, >>> as I've added extra RAM recently. >>> >>> Please advise, >>> >>> Jim >> >> You could consider a program like X-shot. I have not tried them all. Boomer, Thanks, I'll go through them one by one, to see which will work best for me, but I suspect they'll each be similar in performance to X-shot which is not bad. I have tried several Windows2000 newsgroups. Thanks for the help/suggestions, Jim On 05 May 2004 16:29:45 GMT, Boomer <Boomer__Baby_@mailinator.com> wrote: >Jim Jones <> did say: > >> >> No, X- Shot won't truly do what I need. >> I need a way to keep hitting the prt scrn key and save the images >> on demand.
