After running a registry cleaner and getting a list of all the invalid
entries, where can you go to determine what each entry is? Can you Google
them to determine if it is safe to delete them?

There's literally millions of permutations of correct/incorrect
registry entries. A decent registry editor will create backups
so that you can undo a bad clean up.
