I've now posted through another newsserver, and my test posts have
been fine. I've also tried zipping up an mp3 and posting that. When
I do , the size remains correct.
So to recap:
1) If I post an mp3 via my ISP's nntp servers, the file ends up
missing a few bytes.
2) If I zip the same file up & post it, it's fine.
3) If I post using yEnc encoding, it's fine.
4) If I post via Easynews nntp, it's fine.
Does this mean my ISP (or the company whose newservers they use) are
deliberately (or accidentally) screwing up multipart mp3 binaries
encoded with UUE?
