Is it possible to suppress a particular error, and if so how is it
accomplished.

I have tried under "Event Viewer/ View/ Filter. Seems if it was
possible it would be done there, but nothing there...

It might help if you mention that particular error you're dealing with.

Try gpedit.msc it might be there.
