misc.industry.insurance was not a terribly active group, but it served a
useful purpose.

Last summer, however, the moderators just stopped. No explanation, no
request for someone to take over the job, nothing. E-mails to the
moderators are now 'bounced'.

The group is still archived, and there are several [formerly active] posters
who would like to see the group activated again as alt.business.insurance is
mostly spam.

How do we go about choosing a new moderator, or is the group just dead in
the water?

Marilee

Hi
Misc.industry.insurance belongs to the big8 hierarchy.
The best place to ask your question is over at
news.groups

Hope this helps.
