Hi, just a quick one, my daughter has an old Dell computer which really
needs binning but it has to last a bit longer yet. The problem is that the
disk drive says it's not ready and won't open. It does make a slight noise
as though it is trying to open but stays shut. It doesn't show as a 'problem
device' in system info. Can you help. Thanks, Dan.

there should be a very small hole in the front
where you can push a paper clip into ...to open the drive
