Did it complete the installation of the syspack.msi without a problem? If you have done EVERYTHING on the KB article including uninstall and reinstall as instructed, then you should try approaching it as an Internet Explorer problem. The first step I would take on an IE problem is to run a through spyware check. Get all your tools at http://www.spywareinfo.com . I would use Spybot1.2 and HijackThis to remove all spyware and Browser Hijack Objects. Spider http://web.tampabay.rr.com/spider1 |

I regularly run Adaware but I will follow you're advice and try another spyware program. Thanks Dave |

Other then an uninstall and reinstall I can't think of anything else. Did you have a pror version installed? When you uninstall, use Windows Explorer and go to the folder you installed to and delete it. Try searching through the registry and clean it out as best you can before re-installing. Another thing you could try before that would be to use System Restore and go back to a point before you made the initial installation and try again. Keep in mind though that you will also wipe out any other changes you made to your system as well. Spider http://web.tampabay.rr.com/spider1 |
