Spammers will find a valid address and attack it regardless of what you do.
The simple solution is not to have an e-mail address.
Since you rarely use it, terminate the accout, or let the mailbox fill up
and never access it again.
Then get yourself two mail addresses from somewhere.
Use one for signing up with to whatever, and the other for your friends.
You could try writing to them and asking them to stop the mailing, but that
doesn't always work.

Change your e-mail address and stop posting it to Usenet.
