I have some old win 98 games that I want to run on XP. They will not
install so I can't click the win XP compatibility run 98 mode. Is there any
way to get them to work or do I have to resign them to obscurity?

TIA

You will probably have to find the installer program first (look on the CD
rom for install.exe or setup.exe, and use the compatability wizard to make
it think it is running under W98.
Good luck.
