Microsoft has released another 3 patches .. One of them is very serious.

The first relates to Microsoft Data Access Components, which come with W2K,
Office 2000, and SQL Server.

The second relates to Internet Explorer. Microsoft says there's bugs in
5.01, 5.5 and 6.0 which could let people take over your computer.

The third relates to multiple versions of Direct X which could let people
take over your computer.

I've placed the news link together with the download links as a sticky on my
main page.

Seems to be a new 'critical' patch released every day .. anyone got a decent
copy of Linux !?

"So, Mr Slumpy you *really* are the perpetual comedian, aren't you ?" I
threw back my head and roared with laughter as Tech Guy continued:

But for already-dilligent (sp) :

This bulletin was originally issued on July 23, 2003. It has been reissued
to reflect that an additional update is available for users running
Microsoft DirectX 8.0, 8.0a, 8.1, 8.1a, 8.1b when installed on Windows 98,
Windows 98 SE, Windows Millennium Edition, or Windows 2000. Users who
previously installed any of the originally offered updates are not affected
by this development and need take no action.

Which explains why I couldn't get it
