Hello all, I am having a problem playing certain movies with my
windows media player. When I attempt to play certain videos that I
have downloaded the box at the bottom says opening media, then
searching for codec's then error loading codec's and then it plays the
video, but there is no picture. What is wrong.

You need a codec

Go back to the pr0n site you downloaded the movies from and find what
codec they require.

The video is probably in DivX format.

You need DivX codecs to view DivX-encoded .avi files.
