If you wanted to do that use Winzip and make it a zipped folder with a
password ..

Who are you trying to hide the information from?

If it is important that the files stay secret for some time you should
investigate conventional encryption using pgp.

Do lots of reading first, and take your time to create a good, strong, pass
phrase.

If you just need to tamper proof them, well, there are lots of file
encryption things out there.
