Hi,

I'm trying to transform an XML file with XSLT and have no success.
The task is to copy elements from the xml source to the target xml.

Here are the files

The XML file looks something like that:

<root>
<element1>

If they looked exactly like that the stylesheets would have worked.

With input file as posted and stylesheet as posted plus a trailing

</xsl:stylesheet>

line I get

$ saxon a.xml a.xsl
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><A><B><qwer><element1>
