I am trying to pass a simple xml file using xmlspy :

<?xml version="1.0" standalone="no"?>

<inventory>

<vehicle>
<make>Chevy</make>
<model>Camaro</model>
<color>Blue</color>
<year>1968</year>
<milage>52,000</milage>
<price>$18,000</price>
</vehicle>

<vehicle>
<make>Ford</make>
<model>Mustang</model>
<color>Chrome</color>
<year>1965</year>
<milage>12,000</milage>
<price>$30,000</price>
</vehicle>

<vehicle>
<make>Jaguar</make>
<model>Roadster</model>
<color>Red</color>
<year>1967</year>
<milage>76,000</milage>
<price>$23,000</price>
</vehicle>

</inventory>

through a equally simple xsl stylesheet:

<xsl:stylesheet xmlnssl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
version="2.0">
<xslutput method="xml" omit-xml-declaration="no" indent="yes"
encoding = "shift_jis"/>

<xsl:script
language="java"
implements-prefix="String"
src="java:java.lang.String"
xmlns:String="http://www.oracle.com/XSL/Transform/java/java.lang.String"/>

<xsl:template match="/">

<th>make</th>
<th>model</th>
<th>color</th>

</xsl:template>

<xsl:template match = "description">

</xsl:template>

</xsl:stylesheet>

Why does the introduction of the xsl:script element cause an
unexpected element error

Any help would be appreciated...

Hi,

The 'xsl:script' element does not seem to be defined by the latest XSLT 2.0 working draft. http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt20/ . So the error seems to be normal.
