I need to include some text is an all-graphic website for the search
bots. I have two sites, one is all text and ranks high on google, the
other is graphics and little text and I cannot find my site anywhere,
the only difference in the sites is that the one that is one google has
loads and loads of text, the other, very little text. So how do I hide
some text and info so that the search engine-bots find it?

Use Lynx to see what search engines see. You may be horrified at what's
presented on your graphics rich site. Then redesign it. Don't attempt to
hide text.

I don't have the ability to do that, use Lynx, so I am trying another
route - and I don't want to redesign it because quite frankly I am not
very good at it.

Many techniques to "hide" text on pages are penalized by many search
engines, redesign is your best option. Start practicing.

I know you're responding to me [leo] although nobody else in the
newsgroup might. It would benefit you in further querys to read the
links below, because you are not in google, and google doesn't answer
anybody's questions. You're on Usenet.

You should have the ability to use Lynx. It is available for every
platform I'm aware of. But lets say you don't.
As you posted in your first message, your text site ranks well and your
graphics site doesn't show up. That's because good search engines
discount graphics and love text. Do you make use of the alt attribute
for the img element? <img src="pathtoimage" alt="What to do on South
Georgia Island with penguins" width="whatever" height="whatever"> will
at least give "What to do on South Georgia Island with penguins" as
something for search engines to see. The alt attribute is a poor
substitute for well written coherent text on your site but excellent as
a description for graphics.
By the way, did you supply a URL. That'll help others to join in.

Lynx is pretty easy to use.

However, if you really can't, Opera has an "emulate text browser" mode.

Some people use a technique called FIR to use CSS to replace text in the
HTML with images, but I've always thought it's a bit naff myself.

The simplest way to give the search engine an idea of what's on the page
would be good alt texts. Depends on the nature of the site though, care to
post a link?

OP can use http://www.delorie.com/web/lynxview.html to get a
look. To use this service, you need to put any file (can be quite
empty) called delorie.htm on the server (top level of the website
works). This is a security step that limits the view to genuine
website developers or other website insiders...

It is an eye opener to see one's websites in Lynx - informative
check on "accessibility".
