You think that the opium war probably affected China.
Now, tell me,
how many inhabitants live and need eat in China?
How large is China?

>Did Hitler affect Italy? Does he affect it now?

Well, let´say that no country in the EU allows death penalty now whereas
other
countries, for example some States in the USA allow it.

A bit over 1 billion.

About as big as the USA. How many USAians are there?

True. I have mixed feelings about the death penalty. Almost certainly
some people deserve to die but I fear that the states which permit the
death penalty were influenced more by financial concerns than any higher
conscience or credo.

For last 4-5 years, yes (if 13.5h per day is two thirds). I spend about
10-12h at work (all time at a computer or computers). At home I use computer
for 2-6h a day (doing my "homework" for my studies, learning, surfing the
Internet and playing). I forgot to exclude weekends (3-9h), which will lower
the stats to average 12.5 hours per day. I should also count another
days when I'm not at work (on vacation) sometimes having no access to the
computer for a week or two, but I'm not sure how many days per year look
like that.

Where did you get these figures?
Aren´t they over 1,3 billions including Chinese people living outside China?
In any case they are very many, the country is large and Chinese and
Japanese seem to compete a lot with each other.
Do you know many Japanese people, by the way?

To be honest, I do not know how many USAians ( Americans who live in the
USA, I suppose)
live in China.

I am against death penalty. According to me death penalty is a violation of
human rights.

I was more surprised that you spent only 4 hours because I was under the
impression that most "regulars" taking part in this NG spend a very long
time in front of a computer screeen. Perhaps yuo are the "odd one out" in
this respect in this NG
I am trying to spend much less time,
though, because I think it is not healthy to use the computer too much.

Last few weeks I have spent over 10 hours a day. But this is not
an average. Just a lot of work lately...

Stick these strings in your data bank Eliza!

What does that have to do with what I wrote?

Back to my website, there is a css file which I am trying to check up.
It does not seem to have errors But I get many warnings.
I tried to use background instead of background-color but it did not seem to
help much.
I also tried to use background-image: none; but it did not help much either.
I tried to use 2 different validators but I still got warnings of different
kinds.
So, this is
1.css
in case some of you has some simple suggestions to eliminate the warnings

Is it impossible that some women even prefer not to reveal that they are
such in the NG as a result of some kind of reasoning as the one which you
wrote above?

Below a question for dorayme

Actually, I think it's because of guilt, although women are known for
their irrational perversity, too. But let's be generous; who can blame
a woman for not wanting to reveal her sex to the public at large?
