I'm creating a PHP page with a drop down list. The info in the list is
pulled from a database - simple so far. What I would like to do is
have the page display that drop down list, but enable the user to type
in a value if what they are looking for is not present - into the drop
down without using a separate text field. Is this possible? If so,
how? THANKS!

Can't be done in HTML.

Only with a separate text field. There is no way to allow a user to type
a new value into a select box.
