HTML e-mails

Hello,

Is there a standard for coding HTML e-mails? I'm not sure what the best
practice is since HTML emails are displayed by so many clients. I tried
Googling a few terms and found many great tips, but I was unable to find
any definitive source for creating HTML emails. Any pointers?

Same as for anoy other HTML documents:

Don't use scripting. Put all your CSS inline.
