Web Page with a good listing of html tags?

I loaned my html book to a relative and it's going to be a while
before I'm able to get it back. I couldn't remember off the top of my
head how to keep my background image from tiling so I looked at my
favorites for stored pages and realized I only have a couple decent
places for tags, which didn't help me much anyway. I'm googling and
will likely find it, but, I thought I'd post here and see if some of
the more knowledgable People wouldn't mind shaing a few URL's to very
useful sites for such htm needs. I tried looking through my 32k+ posts
but either my search terms weren't quite right or their hasn't been
such a question asked so I hope I'm not asking for Anyone to repeat
themselves. One site I have is

http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/wilbur/list.html

which has been helpful for quick look up's. Thanks for taking the time
to read my post and thanks again for any responses.... errrr...
Helpful responses anyway.

W3C (www.w3.org) have lists of all the HTML you will ever need. What
you're after is actually CSS though (which you can also find on their site);

style="background: url(mypicture.gif) no-repeat;"

Damn you type fast

Out of all those really good url, w3schools.com is the one I'd
recommend... I still use that site a lot for quick reminders. Plus W3C
for definative stuff.

Sorry, I'll rephrase that.

<rephrase>
brucie cheats. He uses a neural uplink to talk to his news server, thus
avoiding any dealings with such mundane things as keyboards.

Now that brucie has his brand new possum adorned satellite dish he can think
Real Damn Fast at his news server, giving us mere mortals the illusion of
total omnipotence.
</rephrase>

Howsat?

javascript:document.instillEmotion(new Awe ());

Some say the Wired doesn't have political borders like the real world,
but there are far too many nonsense-spouting anarchists or idiots who
think that pranks are a revolution.

keyboards are for sissies and the pointing device challenged.

its very concerning, i don't want the poor little guys to get cooked
like the last family did when my house burn down.

its really tempting to upgrade so i can think even damn faster at it.
