Hi Max,

With regard to running a database driven website on a CD:

http://www.indigostar.com/microweb.htm

That project may not require search and other database functions, but if it
did microweb would handle it. Essentially that means the site could be of
any complexity. The developers license is $299, there is no runtime
distribution costs.
