What factors determine when a browser times out a server request? Any
rough standards.

This seems a bit unpredictable. Does sending unbuffered output over a
period of time help?

Jeff

The browser times out when the TCP/IP stack times out. You have little
control over this except to dive into the registry and tweak the settings,
fraught with danger.

Unbuffered output? Send? Send where? In a timeout situation there is nobody
to send to, the target IP address is not responding.

Cheers

It's possible the o/p could be refering to script or session timeout values,
but it's not clear.
