Hi,
I've made a web-album, but when you click a thumbnail (a pop up with the
large version opens), the thumbnails which didn't load yet stop loading. Is
there a trick to prevent that so that the thumbnails keep on downloading
after clicking another one?

You could use a JavaScript preload:

Not portably; this is browser-dependent.
