Hi,
Since you used the "Print to File" option, I assume that you now have a file with the extension either .ps or .prn. Let's call it "MyFile.prn" for the sake of illustration. Steps : 1. For easier access, copy the file to your C:\ drive. 2. Open your command prompt within Windows. 3. At the prompt, type the following, making appropriate substitutions... --------------------------------------- copy c:\MyFile.prn LPT1 /B --------------------------------------- Here you need to substitute "MyFile.prn" with the actual filename you have. Also, I'm assuming that your printer is connected through port LPT1, so if that's not so, you will need to put in the correct port. When you do this, your file will automatically start printing. Keep your printer on ! Hope this helps, Regards, Cerebrus. Cerebrus |

Ah ! Someone who browses the group history ! A rarity these days...
I think what you *have* downloaded is the printer driver, not the printer. The first question that arises in my mind is, have you installed the downloaded drivers ? Also, what do you mean by "cannot get it online" ? Please elaborate on the problem. Cerebrus |

It appears that you haven't installed the drivers. Locate the
downloaded driver installation, and double click it to start the install. It should take care of the rest. Cerebrus |
